Hi, I’m Josef Saleh, MPharm | Licensed Pharmacist | 6+ years clinical experience

I’m a licensed pharmacist with a Master’s degree in Pharmacy from the University of Oslo, based in Norway, with over 6 years of experience working directly in pharmacies and close to a decade in healthcare overall. My background includes work in Norway’s largest pharmacy chain, hospital settings, and research within microbiology, particularly vaccines.
My Master’s research was conducted at the University of Oslo’s Faculty of Pharmacy within the Microbiology and Immunology research group. My enrolment as a Master’s student and my thesis defence are both documented on the University of Oslo’s official research pages.
Over the years I have also worked extensively with the production and evaluation of prescription medications, supplements, and cosmetic products. A large part of my daily work has been understanding how these products actually interact with the human body, and more importantly, how they interact with each other.
Why I created this site
If you spend even a few minutes online searching for supplements or health advice, you will quickly notice something.
Everything sounds like it works.
In reality, that is not what I see in practice.
Working in pharmacies, I have seen trends come and go. Sudden spikes in demand for a supplement or product, often driven by social media or marketing. People come in with high expectations, buy into the promise, and rarely come back for it again.
Not because people do not want results. But because the information they were given was not honest, realistic, or complete.
I have always been the kind of person who reads the complex clinical papers and then figures out how to explain what actually matters to a real person. Not dumbed down. Just made honest and clear. Throughout my career that instinct kept showing up at the pharmacy counter, in conversations with patients who deserved a straight answer and rarely got one.
This site was created to cut through that noise.
What “Pharmacist Tested” actually means
This is not a marketing phrase.
When I review a supplement or product, I look at:
The actual ingredients and their clinical relevance. Whether the dosages make sense. Documented effects in real studies. Known side effects and risks. Potential interactions with other medications.
In other words: not what should work in theory, but what is likely to work in real life, and for whom.
My approach
I am not here to sell hype.
I believe most people do not need more complicated advice. They need clearer, more honest information. That means no exaggerated claims, no miracle products, and no recommendations without context.
Some products are genuinely useful. Many are not. And some can even be harmful when combined incorrectly, especially when it comes to drug interactions, where the risks are consistently underestimated.
What you will find here
Evidence-based supplement reviews. Medication safety and interaction awareness. Clear explanations without unnecessary complexity.
Everything is written with one goal: helping you make better decisions, not faster ones.
A final note
Good health decisions are rarely about trends. They are about consistency, understanding, and realistic expectations.
If this site helps you avoid wasting money, avoid unnecessary risks, or simply understand what you are taking a little better, then it is doing its job.
